If you had to pick just one habit to save energy, what would it be?

Dear Get Me,
Pick just one habit? That’s like picking your favorite child! They’re all my favorites! But since you asked, here are two ways to save:
Evening hours are energy-using hours. Most people come home from a hard day of work and turn everything on. Wow, the energy use is high! See what you can turn off each night.
Buy less. Unplug. Frankly, if it’s not in the house, you can’t turn it on. And if you already bought it, rethink it: Do you really appreciate the outdoor lights each night? The fountain 24/7? The instant hot-water system? Often, I find that a few simple changes with these items makes a big difference.
